Gold catalyzed synthesis of biologically active heterocycles from ynamides

Abstract

Research on the laboratory synthesis of heterocyclic scaffolds are hot research topic in chemistry science in particular in pharmaceutical chemistry, because heterocycles are privileged scaffolds found in numerous drug molecules and natural products. In recent times, ynamides have emerged as versatile building blocks in annulation reactions for the synthesis of heterocycles. Gold catalysts had been considered a highly efficient candidate for catalysis in particular for the synthesis of biologically active heterocycles. In this paper, we discussed on a collection of methods reported for the gold catalyzed synthesis of biologically active heterocycles from ynamides.
